Student Health Aide

Student Health Aide provides direct support to a student with significant medical needs to ensure safe access to educational programming throughout the school day. The aide assists with health-related, mobility and personal care needs under the direction of the school nurse and in accordance with the student’s health and educational plans, helping maintain the student’s dignity, safety and inclusion within the school environment. May include a limited number of evening hours to support the student’s participation in extracurricular activities and school events. This position is student-specific and guaranteed only for the duration of the assigned student’s enrollment in the district and need for services.
