Job Summary
Chair the Segregated University Fee Allocation and Non-allocable University Fee Allocation Committees, co-chair the Differential Tuition Steering Committee, and implement and enforce Student Government Association fiscal policy. Oversee all SGA funded accounts, train and supervise the Associate Budget Director, and serve as the comptroller for segregated fees. Assist student organization treasurers with the budget process, provide educational sessions on segregated fees, and act as the interpreter of financial decisions for the Student Government Association Senate and President. Manage the budget office to ensure financial forms and information are readily available, attend SGA Senate and Executive Staff meetings, and meet with leadership near the end of each semester to document transitional material. Serve a minimum of 12 hours per week in the SGA Office or related work meetings on campus.
Required Qualifications
- Currently employed or enrolled as a student at any of the Universities of Wisconsin
- Authorization to work within the United States as required by the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986
- Ability to serve a minimum of 12 hours per week in the SGA Office or related work meeting on campus
- Ability to meet at a minimum of once near the end of each semester with the President and/or Vice President
- Ability to document transitional material including semester accomplishments and helpful tips
- Ability to provide an updated list of contacts at the last meeting of the executive's term
