Job Summary
Oversee the College’s Sponsor Contracts, student accounts, and cash collections; provide quality customer service to students, faculty, staff, administration, and third-party entities; communicate effectively in person and via telephone, email, or remote communication; summarize conversations for student files; initiate collection activities; empower students to use online services; explain payment options and deadlines; handle tuition-related inquiries and 1098T forms; receipt funds; maintain confidentiality per FERPA; refer and manage installment plans with third-party providers; ensure account balances are accurate before refunds; monitor receivables and prepare invoices for college services; perform data entry, filing, and record-keeping; conduct reconciliations and ad hoc payments to sponsors; support safety practices and complete other duties as assigned; requires strong prioritization, multitasking, and professional communication skills; associate degree and accounting/bookkeeping experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate degree and two years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Experience with spreadsheet/database applications.
- Successful results of a criminal background check are required.
