Job Summary
Interpret and apply Title IV, state, and institutional aid rules to maximize student access while maintaining full compliance. Interview prospective students to determine needs assessment and financial aid eligibility; assist students with financial aid questions and complete verification and packaging processes. Maintain and audit student files for required documentation; coordinate required signatures; establish private-pay repayment plans and ensure eligible non-citizenship status documentation. Track ISIRs and data entry for packaging, fund releases, and loan status; notify Admissions of no-shows and reschedule accordingly. Counsel veteran students and ensure VA and State Approving Agency guidelines compliance; support ISIR analysis, loan origination processes, and preparing auditable files. Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills (SIS, Excel), with three years of financial aid experience and familiarity with Title IV funding, verification, and R2T4 calculations.
