Job Summary
Facilitate and coordinate wraparound services for students in the Utica City School District by assisting with identification, enrollment, and monitoring of those needing support. Deliver Tier 2 interventions and collaborate with teachers, therapists, and mental health staff to develop, implement, and monitor individual academic and behavioral goals. Coordinate ICAN services, manage truancy initiatives, and design group programs to ensure student engagement. Serve as a liaison between families and school officials to improve educational involvement while evaluating crisis situations and providing appropriate behavioral interventions. Support UCSD recruitment and retention efforts while adhering to professional ethics.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field and four years relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- At least two years relevant experience in traditional and non-traditional youth service setting
- Ability to adjust to student, staff, and program needs
- Experience working with students with severe emotional and behavioral problems
