Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Student Engagement Facilitator focuses on maximizing student attendance and reducing tardies, investigates chronic tardiness, and supports a plan to keep student absence under three days per semester. The role acts as a community outreach contact to increase parental involvement, assists with parent program presentations, monitors attendance and discipline data, applies PBIS and progressive discipline, redirects misbehaviors, and documents progress toward learning objectives and interventions such as RTI and BIP. The position provides administrative support for the district’s parental involvement program and coordinates activities to support Title I objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of college is preferred
- PBIS training
- experience working with parental and/or family engagement is desired
