Job Summary
Support instructors for three to four concurrent Digital Design courses by aiding in and out of class sessions, preparing demonstrations, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized studio environment. Manage digital and analog equipment safely while assisting with inventory, instructional materials, and classroom activities. Conduct library research, perform image searches, and host tutoring sessions outside of class. Engage respectfully with students, potentially providing mentorship. Requires an Art or Graphic Design major/minor with completed ART 12000 and 22500, familiarity with Gannett 129 Digital Lab processes, and knowledge of cameras, printers, scanners, and creative suite software.
Required Qualifications
- Art Major, Art Minor, or Graphic Design Minor
- Completed ART 12000
- Completed ART 22500
- Strong familiarity with Gannett 129 Digital Lab processes and protocols
- Knowledge of cameras
- Some software skills
- Knowledge of printers
- Knowledge of scanners
- Knowledge of software/creative suite
- Reliability
- Clear communication
- Strong attention to studio and equipment safety
