Student Conduct and Discipline Specialist

Job Summary
Conduct student discipline hearings, manifestation determination meetings, and appeals in accordance with division policies and applicable laws. Manage the Changing and Modifying Perceptions (CAMP) Program and lead Virginia Tiered Systems of Support (VTSS) implementation efforts. Collaborate with school administrators, counselors, teachers, and community partners to support positive student behavior, equitable outcomes, and restorative practices. Prepare hearing summaries, reports, and recommendations for administrative review and School Board appeals while providing training and technical assistance on student conduct procedures. Maintain accurate records and ensure all responsibilities are completed within established timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in education, educational leadership, counseling, social work, psychology, criminal justice, or a related field
- Three to five years of experience in student services, school administration, student conduct, behavioral intervention, or a related educational setting
- Valid Virginia license or eligibility for licensure
