Job Summary
Extract, clean, and analyze purchasing and vendor data to track cost-saving opportunities and generate actionable insights. Monitor indirect vendor spend patterns, market trends, and historical performance metrics to support strategic decision-making. Assist in categorizing and segmenting indirect suppliers based on spend, criticality, risk, and operational impact. Build and update visual reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI. This student co-op role is available for candidates enrolled in a post-secondary program in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field, with an hourly rate between $19.00 and $23.00 CAD.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Strong analytical background with experience manipulating and interpreting data
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling)
- Solid understanding of supply chain fundamentals, procurement concepts, or vendor management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to summarize complex data into clear findings
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
