Job Summary
Student Center Support role in Bend (0.6 FTE) involving guiding students to reinforce reading, language arts, math, computer instruction, and other skills; assisting with tests/assessments and record-keeping; managing classroom behavior for a safe, orderly environment; supporting staff and coordinating with administrators. Requires familiarity with various curricula, basic subject knowledge, ability to use PC/software (Word, Excel), valid driver’s license with vehicle and insurance, and strong written/oral communication. Travel to regional centers in Oregon for staff meetings and training; work-from-home office presence with on-site lab duties in the Bend area. Responsibilities also include equipment/inventory tasks and supporting students with disabilities or special needs, along with maintaining confidentiality and collaborating with students, staff, and others. Education: High School diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred. FLSA: Non-exempt.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver's license, running vehicle, and appropriate automobile insurance
- Must possess job-related experience providing the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge and ability to perform the job.
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
