Job Summary
Conduct classroom presentations and outreach events to promote career resources across residence halls, student organizations, and campus groups. Staff drop-in hours to assist students with resume and cover letter reviews, internship strategies, and Navigate/Handshake portal navigation. Support Career Center workshops, fairs, and networking events by managing check-in, setup, and cleanup while gathering feedback to improve programs. Serve as the front desk point of contact, handling administrative duties and maintaining a clean workspace. Engage students in career development conversations and connect them with appropriate Center resources.
Required Qualifications
- Current Augsburg University student in good academic standing
- Work study eligible
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups and facilitating presentations
- Friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic about engaging with fellow students
- Excellent customer service skills and a welcoming attitude
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating as part of a team
- Comfortable learning and using technology platforms such as Handshake, Navigate, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
