Job Summary
Demonstrate professionalism by collaborating with faculty to create and promote major-specific events for first-year students. Facilitate workshops prior to registration and connect incoming students with faculty and departmental support resources. Ensure new students meet the necessary resources within their field of study during their initial year. Requires faculty endorsement and enrollment in an upper-class on-campus degree program. Schedule involves an average of 2 hours per week, fluctuating between 0 and 10 hours depending on event availability.
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in an Undergraduate On-Campus Day program at SNHU
- Must be an upper-class student enrolled in a degree program at SNHU
- Highly dependable and flexible
- Attendance, punctuality, and reliability
- Must have an endorsement from any faculty member in the department where the student wishes to be a major ambassador
