Job Summary
Serve students during their visits to the food pantry by providing intake and support while they shop. Assist in tracking inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of food and supplies, and organizing donations. Maintain the pantry's cleanliness and organization by regularly stocking shelves and managing the flow of donations. Develop and implement initiatives that raise awareness about food insecurity on campus, including workshops, informational sessions, and outreach campaigns. This role offers valuable professional experience for students in social work, business, or related fields.
Required Qualifications
- Current UC student
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for community service and addressing food insecurity
- Must provide satisfactory proof of employment eligibility via Federal I-9 employment verification process
