Job Summary
Assist the department of Community Relations and Special Events and provide general information service at the information desk of the Student Center. Essential duties include handling routine office inquiries, day-to-day departmental maintenance, clerical tasks (answering phones, filing, scheduling, organizing), and assisting with special projects. Also assist in setting up meeting/event rooms and performing general facility maintenance. Requires on-campus, face-to-face interactions and a regular on-site schedule with some evening/weekend work; payment is $8.00/hour for up to 19 hours weekly. Enrolled students must meet the specified credit-hour requirements. Strong customer service, organization, multitasking, and basic software skills are needed.
