Job Summary
Broadcast & Big Screens student assistants will contribute to broadcasts and videoboard shows during Texas Athletic events, operating live graphics, replay systems, and Daktronics Show Control. Responsibilities include creating and organizing content for control room systems, performing various game day and non-event day tasks, and assisting with camera operation for live gameplay. Ideal candidates have prior experience in live sports broadcasting or relevant multimedia skills, effective communication, and a collaborative work ethic.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a student at the University of Texas at Austin
- Able to work nights and weekends
- Consistently exemplify the core values and quality service standards of Texas Athletics
- Act ethically and comply with applicable laws and regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating a camera for live sports or special events
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or After Effects
- Ability to collaborate with others and follow instructions
- Customer service and communication skills
- Professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
