Job Summary
Part-time SAP Counselor role supporting Student Assistance Teams in Delaware County; duties include monitoring SAP processes, building relationships with schools and families, conducting psycho-social screenings, facilitating school-based psycho-educational groups and presentations, reporting on student progress, maintaining confidentiality, providing behavioral health information to youth and families, making referrals for treatment and community support, and crisis/intervention/aftercare services. Requires a Master's or Bachelor’s degree (with enrollment in a Master's program within 1 year of graduation) and 1 year of behavioral health/education experience with children/adolescents and families; licensure/certification preferred; PA clearances required. Schedule is 7:30 am - 3:00 pm, three days per week in Media, PA; pay rate is $25.50+ per hour. Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or Bachelor's degree and be in enrolled in a Master's program within 1 year of graduation
- One year of experience in the behavioral health/education field, including experience with children/adolescents and families
- License or certification preferred
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal clearance, and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list
