Job Summary
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to clients under the supervision of a BCBA; implement behavior intervention plans and collect data on client progress; assist in developing and maintaining individualized treatment and behavior plans; collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in implementing behavior strategies; document client progress and maintain accurate medical records; support clients in activities of daily living (ADLs) and social interactions; conduct structured teaching sessions based on the principles of ABA; require familiarity with ABA principles, experience with autism, and ability to work with children and adolescents; position based in Arlington, VA with in-person work settings such as school, private school, or in-home environments.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents
- Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus
- Knowledge of medical documentation, care plans, and patient care practices
