Job Summary

Lead project management for the Office of Diversity Programs, overseeing monthly events from planning and execution to assessments. Coordinate the annual Soul Food Dinner and additional initiatives including menu planning, guest outreach, and event setup. Create digital and print content across social media and educational channels while maintaining daily center operations like inventory and lounge management. Mentor new student staff and collaborate with campus partners to foster an inclusive environment. Requires prior Soul Food Dinner planning experience, strong event management skills, and current enrollment at SNHU. Weekly schedule of 8-12 hours with various shifts between 9 AM and 7 PM.

Required Qualifications

  • At least ONE semester of successful service as an Agent of Change or comparable campus leadership role (Resident Assistant, Student Organization Officer, etc.)
  • Experience in planning at least ONE previous Soul Food Dinner event
  • Demonstrated understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion concepts
  • Knowledge of basic computer/technology tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, Canva, video/digital imaging, etc.)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok
  • Current enrollment in an SNHU Undergraduate or Graduate Day program
  • Positive standing with Community Standards and Academics
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

  • Soul Food Dinner planning experience is required
