Job Summary
Monitor students' attendance and academic progress while filing and maintaining academic records and necessary paperwork. Guide students on maintaining F-1 status, work authorization, and immigration-related topics by applying federal regulations. Schedule appointments for the Academic Dean, Admissions Office, and DSOs, and make outbound calls to remind students of deadlines and policies. Provide documentation such as employment authorizations and letters, and offer technical assistance with online operating systems like email accounts. Organize campus events including the International Student Festival and field trips, while maintaining a pleasant reception area and abiding by FERPA regulations. Work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with alternating Friday and Saturday shifts from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- BA degree
- Minimum of two years full-time work-related experience
- Proficiency in computer applications including, but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, and database
- Effective oral and written communication skills, including ability to interact professionally with students, staff, faculty, and the general public
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
- Ability to abide by FERPA regulations in regards to student information
- Monday through Thursday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Friday and Saturday (alternating weekly): 8:00 am to 2:30 pm
