Job Summary
Welcome visitors, answer phones, and direct inquiries as the primary receptionist for the Student Affairs Office. Coordinate the Dean's calendar, manage travel logistics, and handle routine office operations and special projects. Maintain the student pro bono database, track service hours, and support law school examinations and student programs. Assist with events, projects, and initiatives while providing administrative support to the Student Affairs team and the Dean. This 17.5-hour weekly part-time role supports the J. Reuben Clark Law School's student services and operations.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of administrative, assistant, or professional experience
- Ability to provide professional customer service and communication with students, faculty, alumni, visitors, and external partners
- Administrative organization, prioritization, scheduling, calendar coordination, and office operations
- Ability for accurate database maintenance, recordkeeping, reporting, and attention to detail
- Discretion and sound judgment when handling routine, confidential, or sensitive matters
- Ability to coordinate travel, events, student services, examinations, and multiple concurrent assignments
- Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend
