Student Advocate Manager

Job Summary
Recruit, hire, and onboard Student Advocates while supervising their caseloads, evaluations, and daily technical assistance. Organize advocate schedules, facilitate weekly team meetings and case reviews, and support the development of student success plans and data collection. Conduct family outreach visits, home visits, and program design to promote family engagement, then create monthly data reports for school staff and state reporting. Monitor program implementation, manage budgets and supplies, and align ALOP procedures with existing school policies through ongoing collaboration with home and school staff. Provide daily technical assistance and professional learning to the team while ensuring full caseloads and program integrity across the North Cook region.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Friendly and patient demeanor including conflict resolution skills
- Able to travel by vehicle to North Cook ISC area schools
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds of office supplies or materials, such as boxes of paper or equipment
- Occasional walking and standing
- Some work may require climbing stairs or navigating to homes or other locations within the North Cook ISC region
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or supervisory experience preferred, but not required
- Spanish speaker preferred
