Job Summary
Conduct intake interviews, daily attendance monitoring, and social-emotional outreach for a caseload of 60-70 students through phone, remote, or home visits. Consult with guidance counselors and teachers on credit accumulation, graduation plans, and academic performance while referring students to necessary support services. Facilitate workshops, group sessions, and individual counseling to assist students with college admissions, FAFSA, and employment opportunities. Document all interactions on Salesforce and Google Suite, attend administrative meetings, and arrange field trips and extracurricular activities. Maintain flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and remote work, with some overnight trips required.
Required Qualifications
- B.A/ B.S.W. degree
- at least two years youth services experience
- Excellent verbal, analytical, written, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and multi-task
- Strong interpersonal skills and time management skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of community service/ development
- Minimum intermediate knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office including Word and Teams / Google Suite, Zoom, and other applications
- Department of Education (DOE) clearance
- COVID Vaccine status as a recipient of Federal, State, and local funds (fully vaccinated or able to obtain vaccination before start date)
- Maintain flexible hours and workdays, some overnight trips required
- Some evenings, weekends, and remote work required
