Job Summary
Conduct retrospective database analysis using de-identified clinical records and apply literature-based diagnostic criteria for nociplastic pain under supervision. Collect, enter, clean, and organize data while assisting with participant recruitment, scheduling study visits, and monitoring attendance. Support administration of study questionnaires, functional outcome measures, and ActiGraph wearable fitness tracker distribution. Assist with transcription organization, de-identification procedures, quality assurance, and regulatory documentation. Attend weekly research team meetings and collaborate with patients, clinicians, researchers, and administrative staff. This temporary part-time role begins September 14, 2026, with an expected 10-15 hours per week at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute – University Centre.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled at University of Toronto - St. George Campus or Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) in downtown Toronto
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with a team and independently
- Highly motivated to work in healthcare
- Proficiency with MS Office software (including, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required
- Ability and willingness to work in person at Toronto Rehabilitation Institute - University Centre 2-3 days per week is required
- Availability to work approximately 10-15 hours per week during the contract period is required

Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with REDCap is considered an asset
- Previous experience with clinical trials, randomized controlled trials, clinical research, or working with research participants is considered an asset
