Job Summary
The Student Accountability Advisor serves as the first point of contact for students navigating the non-academic misconduct policy, handling intake, preliminary assessments, investigations, and determining outcomes with principles of natural justice. Responsibilities include referring high-risk cases to designated authorities, using student development theories and restorative practices to facilitate educational outcomes, providing trauma-informed and culturally sensitive support, assisting with referrals and coordination with the SSART, maintaining accurate case records in line with regulatory policies (e.g., FIPPA), contributing to operational reporting, and representing the unit on institutional committees while collaborating with campus partners to enhance student support and services.
Required Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree coupled with 2 years progressive experience in student affairs, higher education, or related field.
