Job Summary
Direct project teams and coordinate activities to ensure successful project completion while managing contract budgets, estimates, and scope changes. Prepare professional proposals including scope of work, schedules, and manpower estimates. Serve as a supervisor and mentor for junior and mid-level staff, overseeing their productivity and performance. Identify new work opportunities, cross-sell division services, and maintain effective sales efforts to meet business development goals. Collaborate with division directors and marketing to foster a culture of business development. Work in both office and field settings, including outdoor conditions subject to temperature extremes and inclement weather.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in Surveying Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum of ten years of surveying experience
- Ability to and interest in managing projects
- A working knowledge of modern survey techniques, and computer programs
- Registration as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) in Florida, or ability to attain within 6 months
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
- Ability to reliably commute or relocate before starting work
