Job Summary
Direct project teams and coordinate activities to ensure successful completion of assigned projects while managing contract budgets, estimates, and scope changes. Prepare professional proposals including scope of work, schedules, and manpower estimates. Mentor and supervise junior and mid-level staff, fostering a culture of business development by identifying new work opportunities and cross-selling divisional services. Manage multiple projects and collaborate with departmental personnel to fulfill contract requirements. Work in both office and field settings, including outdoor conditions subject to temperature extremes and inclement weather. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Surveying Engineering, ten years of surveying experience, and Florida Professional Surveyor and Mapper registration.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in Surveying Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum of ten years of surveying experience
- Ability to and interest in managing projects
- A working knowledge of modern survey techniques, and computer programs
- Registration as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) in Florida, or ability to attain within 6 months
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
- Ability to reliably commute or relocate before starting work
