Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive historical forensic research on legacy case files stored within official archives to support organization, assessment, and closure. Systematically organize and maintain legacy case documents while compiling detailed, clear, and accurate research findings. Draft thorough research summaries for final review and verification by qualified personnel. Work closely with current technical staff to ensure historical documentation meets quality, procedural, and archival standards. Adhere strictly to all applicable SOPs, guidelines, confidentiality requirements, and security protocols when handling sensitive forensic materials. Maintain structured documentation systems and apply document control standards while collaborating with technical personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI if required
Desired Qualifications
- Former certification as a forensic examiner under recognized forensic quality systems
- Practical experience working with legacy forensic documentation, evidence records, or historical case files
- Experience operating within controlled or classified environments requiring strict adherence to security protocols
