Job Summary
Conduct pre-job meetings, review project scopes and union contracts, and set up job sites before work begins. Coordinate subcontractor operations, manage local union relationships, and supervise on-site employees while ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and company policies. Generate two-week look-ahead schedules, verify utility locates prior to excavation, and maintain accurate daily paperwork including timesheets, diaries, and safe cards. Guarantee maximum equipment utilization and ensure all materials and tools are available as scheduled.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum GED or High School Diploma
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent with experience supporting structural components of roadways, highways or bridges
- Position may be subject to pre-employment screening, which may include background check and drug testing
