Job Summary
Oversee all structural aspects of roadway construction projects by attending pre-job meetings, reviewing scopes and union contracts, and setting up job sites. Coordinate subcontractor operations, manage local union relationships, and supervise on-site employees while ensuring work complies with specifications, OSHA standards, and EEO requirements. Generate two-week look-ahead schedules, verify utility locates before excavation, and maintain equipment and materials. Complete required paperwork including daily timesheets, diaries, tool box talks, and safe cards. Ensure accurate quantity entry and maximum equipment utilization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum GED or High School Diploma
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent with experience supporting structural components of roadways, highways or bridges
- Position may be subject to pre-employment screening, which may include background check and drug testing
