Job Summary
Structures S Licensed Technician responsible for disassembling, modifying, repairing, and reassembling aircraft sheet metal and airframe structures; repair, fabrication or modification of airframe structures per approved technical instructions; perform initial inspection on heavy maintenance, issue maintenance releases, inspect using SRM/drawings, map damage for engineering validation, and actively participate in the Safety Management System. Mentors Apprentice Technicians; maintains a clean, safe hangar environment; emphasizes quality, cost, and time commitments and collaborates across teams.
Required Qualifications
- Transport Canada ‘S’ license
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Aircraft Structural Repair, Modification and Fabrication
- Clear understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARS)
- Experience with Service Bulletins and Engineering Drawings
- Owns tools and toolbox
