Job Summary
Senior Structures Engineer responsible for overseeing advanced structural engineering activities for military aircraft, ensuring airworthiness and compliance with MIL-HDBK-516C and MIL-STD-882. Leads junior staff, translates requirements into weapon system specifications, develops and reviews ORD/SEPs/TEMPs, conducts system safety and mishap risk assessments, maintains CSI lists, supports Lifecycle Systems Engineering, and ensures safety and regulatory compliance across DoD/AF programs through collaboration in project teams and engineering reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret DoD Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain security clearance at required level
- U.S. Citizenship required for U.S. Government entity
- One of the following education/experience combinations: MA/MS degree with 12 years of experience (5 in DoD); BA/BS with 15 years (5 in DoD); HSD/GED with 20 years (5 in DoD)
- ABET-accredited engineering program recommended for engineering degree holdings

- U.S. Citizenship required for U.S. Government entity
- Active Secret DoD Clearance required or ability to obtain
- No Exceptions to clearance level
