Job Summary
As Structures Crew Chief, lead and mentor a team of structural technicians in inspections, repairs, modifications, and installations of airframe structures and composite components on business aircraft. Provide advanced troubleshooting, review technical manuals and engineering drawings for proper execution, ensure compliance with FAA regulations and OEM standards, coordinate daily workflow to support on-time aircraft delivery, and uphold safety protocols. The role requires hands-on technical leadership, strong problem-solving, and the ability to guide cross-functional coordination with Planning, Engineering, Quality, and leadership teams to maintain project momentum and deliver exceptional maintenance outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- A&P certificate
- 6+ years of hands-on aircraft structural repair, modification, and composite experience
- Proven leadership experience as a senior technician, lead, or crew chief in a maintenance environment
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, SRMs, AMMs, and technical documentation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to guide technicians and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
