Job Summary
Structured Investments and Annuities Coverage Attorney to join iCapital's Legal team. Negotiates complex agreements with structured investment and annuity product issuers and users, assesses legal, regulatory, and reputational risk for product offerings and fintech services, collaborates with Structured Investments and Annuities business teams on strategic and day-to-day matters, and analyzes cross-border regulatory requirements to advise business teams. Requires experience with financial services, securities laws, and broker-dealer environments; preferred background includes supporting a structured product desk and NY Bar admission. The role combines in-office presence Monday-Thursday with remote flexibility on Friday, located in Greenwich, CT or New York, NY.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience within financial services
- Member in good standing of New York Bar or another state or jurisdiction
- Strong knowledge of the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and FINRA rules
- Law firm or in-house experience at a broker-dealer, including supporting a structured product desk is a plus
