Job Summary
Lead end-to-end analysis of RMBS transactions, owning cash flow modeling, scenario design, and interpretation; present recommendations at rating committees (and chair committees as needed); mentor and review junior analysts; manage issuer/investor relationships and contribute to thought leadership and criteria enhancements. Drive criteria application and contribute to methodology developments; produce high-quality research and market commentary; represent Fitch in external meetings and conferences; monitor market developments and translate insights into analytical viewpoints; collaborate with issuers, arrangers, and investors to deliver rigorous, well-documented analyses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
- 5–8 years of relevant RMBS/ABS, mortgage credit, structured finance, or closely related capital markets experience
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including cash flow modeling and handling large datasets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage senior external stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and manage multiple transactions and deadlines
