Job Summary
Implement assigned outcomes for each consumer as determined by their service plan through activities, events, classes, and programs meaningful to adults attending the structured day program. Work cooperatively with the Assigned Team Leader to ensure designated paperwork duties are completed timely and assist participants in developing skills. Promote and execute scheduled events, classes, and speakers while meeting regularly with the supervisor to ensure the needs, interests, rights, and safety of all participants are met. Maintain a valid driver's license to operate agency-owned vehicles and coordinate with the supervisor regarding criminal history record check requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Driving record that meets Pathways insurability guidelines
- Ability to meet requirements related to Criminal History Record checks
- Ability to be fingerprinted if they have regular and substantial unsupervised or unrestricted physical contact with people receiving services in our programs regulated by OPWDD
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- One year of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities
- HHA/PCA certificate or ability to acquire one
