Job Summary
Conduct structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures for residential, commercial, and institutional buildings. Carry out seismic analysis and design per IS 1893 and IS 13920, ensuring compliance with Indian codes and international standards like Eurocodes and ACI/ASCE. Prepare design calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications while reviewing junior engineers' work and coordinating with architects, MEP teams, and stakeholders. Mentor junior engineers and participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and client meetings. Support proposal and bid preparation where required.
Required Qualifications
- over 7 years of expertise in the building sector
- strong proficiency in Indian standards (IS Codes)
- working knowledge of international codes such as Eurocodes and American (ACI/ASCE/AISC) standards
- Experience working in global design centers (GDCs) in India
- Exposure to international projects (Middle East, Europe, USA, etc.)
- Client interaction and design management experience
- Proficiency in structural engineering software such as: ETABS / STAAD / SAFE / SAP2000
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in global design centers in India handling international projects will be highly preferred
