Job Summary
Fabricate and assemble customer-specified buildings by reading blueprints, laying out parts, and operating welding machines to create steel frameworks and components. Set up workpieces in fixtures, troubleshoot equipment issues, and inspect finished metal workpieces to ensure conformance with industry standards and safety regulations. Operate overhead cranes and forklifts while performing shop duties like cutting and assembly. Maintain cleaning schedules and follow all safety protocols in a fast-paced, physical labor-intensive environment. Shift runs from 3pm to 12am, Monday through Thursday.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass 3g fcaw test
- Ability to pass 3g gmaw test
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. occasionally
- Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking/sitting
- Manual dexterity and mobility
- Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
- Visual and auditory acuity
- 3pm - 12am, M-Th
Desired Qualifications
- Trade school certificate in welding a plus
