Job Summary
Structural Welder, 1st Class — Night Shift in Mobile, AL. Role requires 5+ years of structural welding experience in new construction steel, Pulse MIG welding preferred, and ability to weld in challenging positions. Must pass A Class skills evaluation and onboard to complete AL CV weld qualification requirements for vessel welding with full penetration joints. Responsibilities include welding fillets for 4mm–25mm material, welds on gussets, T-Bars, frame wraps, terminations, and corners/vertical intersections; ability to read and interpret construction drawings, manuals, and change orders; maintain quality and meet production deadlines; strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills; able to work independently or as part of a crew; proficient in inspecting welds and correcting minor defects; wear PPE and perform routine equipment maintenance; willing to teach less-skilled workers.
