Job Summary
Weld structural steel parts per drawings and weld symbols, maintain AWS welder qualifications, and visually inspect welds. Safely operate overhead cranes, air arc tools, grinders, and magnetic drills while ensuring quality and safety standards. Communicate with team to ensure completeness of work, perform routine equipment maintenance, and keep the work area clean and organized. Selected applicant will be subject to a pre-employment physical with drug/alcohol testing.
Required Qualifications
- Welding certification in D1.1 2G/3G or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in steel fabrication
- Experience operating overhead cranes
- Flux Core welding experience
- Must pass a weld test meeting AWS standards
- Must be flexible for overtime and Saturdays as needed
- 2G/3G certification preferred
