Job Summary
Weld structural steel parts per drawings and weld symbols for 1st shift; perform flux-core welding (2G/3G) and operate overhead cranes and shop tools; ensure components are welded per specs with visual inspection; follow safety procedures and adapt to overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Welding certification in D1.1 2G/3G with applicable experience
- Prior experience operating overhead cranes
- Flux core welding experience
- 1 2G/3G Certification preferred
- Willingness to learn and interpret fabrication drawings
- Must be flexible for overtime and Saturdays as needed
- Safety and quality: visual inspection of welds
- Ability to safely operate tools (air arc, grinder, magnetic drill)
