Job Summary
Lead and coordinate crew activities to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines. Support the development and implementation of comprehensive project plans and schedules in collaboration with project management teams. Monitor daily operations within assigned disciplines, conducting thorough inspections to maintain quality, safety, and compliance standards. Deliver job site safety training and promote a culture of safety awareness among all personnel to minimize risks and incidents. Manage and control project budgets by enforcing cost control measures and proactively addressing potential financial impacts. Establish and enforce rigorous quality standards to ensure all work meets or exceeds contractual and regulatory requirements. Facilitate communication across teams, resolve operational challenges promptly, and adapt to changing project conditions with agility and professionalism. Work during normal operating hours with overtime and weekends as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of construction industry experience
- At least 3 years in a superintendent or equivalent leadership position
- Experience preferably within structural steel discipline
- Proven capability to supervise steel trade, including steel erection
- Comprehensive understanding of complex construction processes
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently
- Strong decision-making skills
- Strong initiative
- Ability to quickly assimilate Ganotec's policies, procedures, and software tools
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving
