Job Summary
Structural Steel Painter/Loader responsible for painting and preparing structural steel, loading/unloading steel from trucks, operating forklifts as needed, and performing rigging to move materials. Duties include prepping and painting structural steel, loading/unloading, rigging, operating a forklift, and performing other shop-support tasks in a fabrication environment. Requires experience with paint sprayers and overhead cranes, ability to work in hot/cold conditions, stand up to 10 hours, maintain safety practices, and be flexible for overtime and Saturdays. Required Qualifications
- Experience painting and using paint sprayers to apply paint
- Must have experience with overhead crane
- Must be flexible to work any schedule including overtime and Saturdays as needed
- Basic math skills are required
- Must be able to tolerate hot and cold working environment
- Must be able to stand on feet for up to 10 hours
- Must be organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Works in compliance with safety policies and procedures
- Selected applicant will be subject to a pre-employment physical with drug/alcohol testing
