Job Summary
Structural Steel Fitter needed for 1st shift to lay out, position, align, and fit fabricated structural steel parts to blueprint and layout specifications. Training provided to operate overhead cranes and use cutting and heating torches. Responsibilities include heat corrections, checking camber/sweep tolerances of beams and steel shapes, setting up complex jigs or assemblies, identifying hazards, interpreting complex documents, and maintaining clean work areas. Required Qualifications
- Experienced with layouts and solid math skills
- Prior welding experience in Flux Core
- Ability to set-up and use track torch
- Must be flexible to work any schedule needed including overtime and Saturdays as needed
