Job Summary
Fabricate, weld, and assemble structural steel components per blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, cut, shape, and assemble using saws, torches, and welding equipment; operate shop machinery (shears, press brakes, drill presses); weld and fit to project requirements; inspect finished products for quality and accuracy; maintain a safe, organized work area and follow safety standards. Located in Mount Joy, PA with a Mon-Thu 3:30pm-2am shift; training on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks. Required Qualifications
- Experience in structural steel fabrication or a related field.
- Experienced working in a job shop type environment (not production).
- Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG, and stick welding is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and work independently.
- Familiarity with steel fabrication tools and machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in a shop environment.
