Job Summary
Fabricate, assemble, and weld structural steel components per blueprints and shop drawings; read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications; cut, shape, and assemble steel components using saws, torches, and welding equipment; operate machinery such as shears, press brakes, and drill presses; weld and fit structural steel according to project requirements; inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy; maintain a safe and organized work environment; follow company safety protocols and industry standards. Proficiency in MIG welding is required; TIG and stick welding are a plus. Must be able to lift heavy materials and work in a shop environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in structural steel fabrication or a related field.
- Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG, and stick welding is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and work independently.
- Familiarity with steel fabrication tools and machinery.
