Job Summary
Plan, organize, coordinate, and assign work in production locations while monitoring product standards and maintaining quality-control programs. Assure adequate materials, tools, and equipment are available, then coordinate sub-contractors' activities and unit movement to meet schedule requirements. Oversee and maintain safety systems by conducting daily/weekly safety meetings, organizing toolbox discussions, verifying time sheets, and completing Task Hazard Analysis cards. Document and submit incident investigations to the Field Crew Coordinator, ensure project procedures and correspondence are completed timely, and provide training to support employees. Comply with PTW's Code of Conduct, health and safety manual, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations. Requires CSTS training, LSE training as an asset, and own transportation due to remote location.
Required Qualifications
- Must have Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) training
- Must have CSA approved safety boots
- Must have own transportation as location is not accessible with public transportation
- Previous experience in a steel cladding installation and/or construction environment preferred
- Leadership for Safety Excellence (LSE) training an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- A good working knowledge of Building Codes and materials for pre-engineered steel structures
- Strong affinity for providing a safe environment for all field employees, ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to
- Highly self-motivated
- Positive and energetic person with a strong affinity for working well in a team environment
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in a clear, concise and confident manner
- Exceptional time-management skills; ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks quickly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with exposure to outside elements
