Job Summary
Lead structural engineering projects from concept development through construction administration; manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, and client expectations; serve as the primary structural point of contact for clients, architects, contractors, and consultants; design and analyze structures using steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and light-gauge steel; direct BIM and CAD production for accuracy and constructability; ensure compliance with building codes and standards; mentor junior engineers and designers; participate in recruitment, onboarding, and professional development; contribute to quality assurance and control, business development, and strategic growth initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis
- Minimum 5 years of progressive structural engineering experience within the building design industry
- Proficiency with RISA-3D or similar structural analysis software
- Strong knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and light-gauge steel design
- Comprehensive understanding of IBC and applicable structural design standards
- Strong project management, leadership, and client-facing communication skills
