Job Summary
Oversee planning, budgeting, staffing, and execution of Historic Preservation and existing buildings projects within the Historic and Existing Structures Studio. Lead coordination with engineers of all levels (Principals, Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Design Engineers) across Boulder, Denver, or Fort Collins offices. Responsibilities include directing rehabilitation, adaptive reuse, and addition projects; taking the lead on project budgeting and staffing; coordinating construction administration; supervising engineering teams; performing QC/constructability reviews; supporting proposals and fee negotiations; and maintaining client relationships in the historic buildings sector. Travel regionally and nationwide to support projects and business development. Proficiency in REVIT and experience with structural analysis software (RISA/RAM) are leveraged to review plans and create structural models. Preferred qualifications include ability to obtain Colorado PE license within six months and experience with wood, masonry, and related strengthening techniques.
