Job Summary
Conduct structural design for water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure facilities, including new and existing low-rise buildings and reinforced concrete tanks. Prepare structural design budgets, construction cost estimates, and project-specific specifications while visually assessing structures to document deficiencies. Collaborate with multi-discipline teams using Bluebeam and Revit to review construction submittals, manage punch lists, and respond to contractor requests. Requires 5-15 years of experience, Engineer in Training certification, and proficiency in Revit, Staad, or Tekla. Based in Maitland, FL, with opportunities in Maine; salary range $78,000-$125,000.
Required Qualifications
- Engineer in Training Certification required
- BS Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required
- 5-15 years of structural engineering experience
- Experience with Revit for structural engineering drawing production
- Experience with structural design software (STAAD or Tekla Structural Designer)
- Registered Professional Engineer preferred
Desired Qualifications
- MS preferred
- 5-15 years of structural engineering experience, preferably within the municipal water or wastewater engineering industry
