Job Summary
Perform structural analysis and design for telecommunication towers, monopoles, rooftops, and related structures using O-Calc, RISA Tower, and AutoCAD. Review drawings and specifications to ensure code compliance, then develop construction drawings and documentation for new installations and upgrades. Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and contractors to verify project deliverables, while conducting field visits to gather site-specific data and inspect structural conditions. Assist in preparing proposals, budgets, and schedules as needed. Requires a Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering, 3–5 years of telecom experience, and EIT certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 3–5 years of relevant structural engineering experience in the telecommunications industry
- Proficiency with O-Calc, tnxTower, RISA, and other structural analysis software
- EIT certification
- Familiarity with applicable standards and codes such as TIA-222, AISC, and ACI
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit
- PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
